recent Burmese history is both bloody and fascinating - but definitely the most remarkable part of its history is Ms. Aung San Suu Kyi. Luc Besson’s ‘The Lady’ follows her insane transformation from housewife to steely beacon of hope for Burmese democracy: watch it on youtube here [x] 
it’s a beautiful movie and could not better portray the unbending STRENGTH of this woman
